How we handle your data when you visit our website, sign up for updates or a waitlist, contact us or apply to work with us.
General
This privacy policy explains which personal data we process in connection with Music by Originals, in particular when you visit musicbyoriginals.ch and use our forms. We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Visiting the website
When you access the website, technically necessary data is processed, for example IP address, date and time, page visited, referrer, and browser and device information. We need this data to deliver the website, keep it stable and secure, and prevent misuse.
Updates and waitlist
If you sign up for updates or join a waitlist, we process the data you provide: first name, last name, email address and, where requested, phone number, as well as the time of sign-up.
We use this data to inform you by email, SMS or WhatsApp about our events, line-ups and ticket sales, and for a waitlist in particular as soon as tickets become available again. You can unsubscribe at any time, for example by emailing us or using the unsubscribe note in our messages.
Contacting us
If you contact us via the contact form, by email or through another channel, we process your details (for example name, email address and message) to answer your request.
Job applications
If you apply via “Work with us”, we process your details and uploaded documents (for example name, contact details, date of birth, interests and CV) to review your application and contact you about shifts at our events. If we do not work together, we delete your documents no later than six months after the process ends, unless you agree to a longer retention period.
Hosting and forms (Webflow)
The website is hosted by Webflow, Inc., 398 11th Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. Webflow delivers the website via a content delivery network and stores the details and files you send through our forms. More information: webflow.com/legal/privacy.
Form service (Web3Forms)
Waitlist entries are additionally forwarded to our email address via the form service Web3Forms. Your form details and your IP address are transmitted to the provider. More information: web3forms.com/privacy.
Fonts (Google Fonts)
For consistent display, the website loads fonts from servers of Google LLC (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com, ajax.googleapis.com). Your IP address is transmitted to Google in the process. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.
Cookies and web analytics (Google Analytics)
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and Google LLC (USA) to understand how the website is used and to improve it. This sets cookies and processes usage data such as pages viewed, time on site, device and browser information and your shortened IP address. Google may also process this data in the USA.
Google Analytics only becomes active once you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner (Google Consent Mode). Without your consent, no analytics cookies are set. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Analytics data is deleted after 14 months at the latest. WhatsApp, social media and music services
On the website we link to our WhatsApp community and to Instagram, YouTube and Spotify. Data is only transmitted to the respective provider (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Google Ireland Limited or Spotify AB) once you click one of these links. If you join the WhatsApp community, WhatsApp's privacy policy also applies.
Tickets
Tickets are sold through external ticketing providers. If you buy tickets there, the respective provider is responsible for processing your data and its privacy policy applies.
Disclosure abroad
Some of the service providers mentioned process data in the USA or other countries outside Switzerland and the EU. We ensure adequate protection, in particular through the providers' certification under the Swiss-U.S. or EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or through standard contractual clauses.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by law. We delete update and waitlist data as soon as you unsubscribe, but no later than three years after your last contact with us.
Your rights
Within the scope of applicable law, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. To do so, email us at matt@mbo-productions.ch.
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU the authority of your country of residence.
Data security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Transmission between your browser and the website is encrypted (HTTPS).

We may update this privacy policy at any time. The current version published on this website applies.
